Third seed Cheryl Gudinas defeated second seed Rhonda Rajsich in the semi-finals of the Women's Professional Racquetball Organization (WPRO) Ektelon World Championships in New Orleans Saturday, winning 11-5, 6-11, 10-12, 11-8, 11-7, to advance to Sunday's final, where she'll face top seed Paola Longoria. Longoria defeated Adrienne Fisher in the other semi-final, 11-5, 11-2, 11-1.
Gudinas's victory coupled with Longoria's win should be enough to give Longoria the season ending #1 rank ahead of Rajsich regardless of what happens in Sunday's final. This is the final event of the 2009-10 WPRO season.
