LPRT - Abierto Mexicano de Racquetas - Longoria & Amaya win semi-finals

Paola Longoria - the #1 player on the Ladies Pro Racquetball Tour (LPRT) - will have a chance to extend her tournament winning streak Sunday, as she won her semi-final match in the Abierto Mexicano de Racquetas in Toluca, Mexico, beating 5th seed Maria Jose Vargas, 11-1, 11-8, 11-2.

Longoria's opponent will be 6th seed Cristina Amaya, who defeated Frédérique Lambert, the 15th seed, 11-9, 6-11, 11-0, 11-5, and will be playing in her first career pro final. In contrast, Longoria will be trying to win her 21st consecutive pro tournament and will be playing in her 46th pro final.

Sunday's final will be a rematch of this past summer's World Games final, which Longoria won in a tie-breaker. The final will be Sunday at 6 PM.
