LPRT - Longoria wins Abierto Mexicano de Racquetas, extends winning streak

Paola Longoria - the #1 player on the Ladies Pro Racquetball Tour (LPRT) - extended her tournament winning streak to 21 as she defeated Cristina Amaya, 11-1, 11-3, 11-7, to win the Abierto Mexicano de Racquetas in Toluca, Mexico, on Sunday night. Longoria hasn't lost a women's pro event since May 2011.

Longoria also has a winning streak in international competition playing for Mexico, and that includes a win over Amaya this past summer in the World Games, when they met in the final with Longoria winning in a tie-breaker.

Amaya was playing in her first career pro final and had not made it past the quarter finals prior to this weekend.

The next LPRT event is the US Open in Minneapolis October 2-6, 2013.
