Latest IRT & LPRT rankings

Ahead of the US Open, which begins in Minneapolis on Wednesday, we're running down the current top 10 for the both the International Racquetball Tour (IRT) and Ladies Professional Racquetball Tour (LPRT). The rankings will be used for seeding players in Minneapolis.

Kane Waselenchuk with two wins in two tournaments continues to be the #1 ranked player on the IRT rankings. Rocky Carson, who's been runner up to Waselenchuk, in both IRT events this season, is #2 followed by Alvaro Beltran, Jose Rojas and Daniel De La Rosa in 3rd, 4th and 5th, respectively.

There are only two Americans in the top 5, but only five non-Americans in the top 20, with Alejandro Landa (Mexico) at #13 and Hiroshi Shimizu (Japan) at #15.

But Frédérique Lambert has moved up to 5th, going past Cristina Amaya, who's 6th. Susana Acosta is also up one spot, in 7th, as Aubrey Kirch has yet to play this season and isn't registered for the US Open. Yet Kirch is still 8th.
