Quarterfinal day at the USA Racquetball Singles Championships

They are down to the final four at the USA Racquetball National Singles Championships in Tempe, Arizona, and only one of the top four men's and women's seeds has been upset. Fifth seed Jose Diaz upset 4th seed Jake Bredenbeck, 6-15, 15-12, 11-6, in the quarterfinals, and will play top seed Rocky Carson in the semi-finals Saturday, as Carson beat Luis Avila, 15-7, 15-5, in the quarters.

In the other Men's Singles semi, 2nd seed Jose Rojas faces 3rd seed David Horn. Rojas was a straight game winner over Dylan Reid in the quarters, 15-12, 15-6, but Horn needed a tie-breaker to get past Jeff Stark, 12-15, 15-5, 11-3.

In Women's Singles, top seeds Rhonda Rajsich beat Jazmin Trevino, 15-11, 15-0, in the quarterfinals, and will play 4th seed Janel Tisinger in the semi-finals, as Tisinger was a straight game winer over Cheryl Gudinas, 15-1, 15-11. Women's 2nd seed Sharon Jackson defeated Chantel Anderson, 15-5, 15-7, in the quarters, and will play 3rd seed Jacqueline Paraiso-Larsson in the semis, as Paraiso-Larsson beat Da'monique Davis, 15-7, 15-2, in the quarters.
